I absolutely loved Taylor and Nick’s winter wedding at the Lake House. Due to Covid, they were forced to postpone and replan their wedding (again and again and again). Finally they persisted and pushed through all the restrictions and had their wedding anyway. They celebrated their marriage with their immediate family at The Lake House in December. With Alberta only allowing 10 people at a socially distanced ceremony, they had their parents and siblings by their side. Afterwards, they raised their glasses after some touching words were shared and had their first dance. As always, it was so incredible working with the extremely talented Flowers by Janie, Castano Media and Tamara Jones!
We then headed to Fish Creek Park for some portraits in the trees. Afterwards, we drove to Taylor’s grandparents’ house so that she could give her grandma a bouquet. It was such a touching moment to witness. Her grandparents were dressed up and waiting by the window for when they arrived.
Despite Covid impeding on their winter wedding at The Lake House, you couldn’t even tell. Their day was so incredibly special, from beginning to end, and I couldn’t be happier for them both!
