Catie and Phil got married at Reader Rock Garden, here in Calgary, Alberta. Reader Rock Garden is a quaint, romantic location and offers a wide variety of scenery to attending guests. My couple said their vows at the west gardens, just left from the wooden gazebo as pictured in this gallery. They had approximately 70 guests in attendance, which was the perfect size for the section of space they got married at within the gardens. As a Calgary wedding photographer, I am able to utilize the many areas within the garden for wedding portraits. It is beneficial for couples to view the garden and book as soon as they allow it, as they do book up quite quickly. When booking the space for your Calgary Wedding, you must get in connection with a representative from the City of Calgary to secure your date.

On your wedding day, be sure to utilize the upstairs room within the Tea House. Not only does it include vintage styled furniture, but the lighting is perfect, with ample natural light. It is always beneficial for your Calgary Wedding Photographer to work with natural light, as ceiling lights may cast harsh shadows and give the room a yellowish colour, which is difficult to fix in post processing.
