Ohhh I couldn’t wait for Marielle and Sean’s wedding. Â I truly love shooting at the Pinebrook Golf & Country Club, so combine that with one amazing couple, makes me a happy girl. Â Their wedding went off without a hitch. Â The weather was beautiful, the church was stunning and their guests were so thrilled to be there to celebrate with them both. It was the perfect day!
How did you get engaged?
It was a Tuesday evening and I went over to Sean’s place. Normally I walk right in but there was a note on the door explaining on the other side of the door was a treasure! His apartment was candlelit and changed so it was laid out as as path way of rose petals. At different parts of this ‘pathway’ were photos and a note of memories from different events in our relationship, such as our first date, first vacation together, and ending with pictures of our new house that, at the time, was being built! At the end of the pathway was obviously Sean, on one knee 😊

What is the most memorable moment from your wedding?
My most memorable moment was when I walked down the aisle. We didn’t do a first look, so that was it! Seeing Sean at the end of the aisle made everything so perfect, so real! I couldn’t look at him for too long or else the fresh makeup would go down the drain haha!Sean’s most memorable moment was the first time he saw Marielle coming down the aisle. It was when it all started to feel real and he got super excited and emotional. He will never forget looking at her in that moment.

If you could give one piece of advice to couples planning their wedding, what would it be?
We were fortunate enough to fit a wedding planner in our budget. We both had zero stress during the whole process, and basically had no worries leading up to and on the day. This allowed us to enjoy ever single moment of the whole wedding day and wedding planning. On the wedding day, remember to take it all in as it flies by, and it is a bummer when it’s over! We heard this advice many times before our wedding and it is definitely true. Take many moments to be aware of all the family, friends, wedding details, and overall joy around you.

What was your most favourite wedding detail, and why?
This was difficult to pick so we are just going to go with our overall reception. It was held at Pinebrook Golf course, and the massive floor to ceiling windows with the mountains in view were simply stunning. Our planner really catered the room to our romantic theme and everything was simply elegant.
