Melissa and Josh booked me for their intimate wedding on September 2nd. They were surrounded by their close friends and family on the most beautiful (and hot) fall day as they tied the knot! Working with these two was an absolute pleasure. Their connection and easy going nature made for such a fun four hours that I’d spent with them!
How did you get engaged?
We are both huge coffee lovers (Tim Horton’s in particular!). One day, Josh brought me home a coffee, and the cup felt different. I popped the lid open and inside was the ring box! He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
What is the most memorable moment from your wedding?
There is so many, as it was really a perfect day! Probably having all of our family (who live in different countries) together in one place for the first time. There was so much love between everyone and it was very special.
If you could give one piece of advice to couples planning their wedding, what would it be?
Ask for help from family and friends during the planning process! I tried to do everything myself and caused a lot of unnecessary stress when I had tons of people happily waiting to help me.
What was your most favourite wedding detail, and why?
We really loved it all and how beautifully it all came together! From the ceremony decor to the linens on the tables, to the centre pieces and florals. Everything felt very romantic yet simple, which is just what we wanted.
