How did you get engaged?
One February morning we went to Prince’s Island for a brunch at River Cafe. It had just snowed a good bit the day before so we were out to enjoy a winter walk. After brunch Brian tried his best to subtly lead me back to where we sat on that first date. We had gone to Shakespeare by the Bow to watch The Comedy of Errors. He got down on his knee in the snow and asked me if I would share our lives by marrying him. I couldn’t say yes, or get him up from kneeling in the snow fast enough.
What is the most memorable moment from your wedding?
That is a tough question, it is really hard to pick one or even separate them all. Kait: Walking down the aisle to see Brian waiting there for me. Brian: Trying not to tear up as Kait walked down the aisle.
If you could give one piece of advice to couples planning their wedding, what would it be?
Start early, research options and work as a team.
What was your most favourite wedding detail, and why?
That is also really hard, there were so many things we loved. 1. The flower girls and ring bearers, they were wild, they were matching and they were so cute. 2. My dress (Kait) It made me feel stunning.  3. The doughnuts, so much better than cake to us.
