I first met Beth and Cayde at Starbucks where we chatted about their wedding. It was apparent from the get-go how down to earth and sweet they both were! They’re getting married this summer at the St. Eugene Golf Resort (and if you haven’t seen pictures, I highly suggest you Google it!) It’s such an incredible resort that’s nested against the Canadian Rockies. Perfection.
For their engagement session, Beth mentioned hiking Troll Falls. I’d never been before, but I’m so glad she suggested it, because it was beautiful there! Here’s more from this wonderful couple (and their session)!
How did you and your fiancé meet?
Cayde’s brother introduced us.
Where was your first date and how did it go?
For our first date Cayde made me supper at his place. It consisted of homemade bruschetta, salmon, bacon wrapped asparagus and rice. Right then and there I was blown away by Cayde. Then we went to the movie “We’re The Millers”, which we both thought was hilarious and still think to this day. (Photographer side note – I’m drooling.)
What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day (aside from marrying your spouse)?
I am most looking forward to officially spending the rest of my life with my love and to finally become a Brown! As well as having all our friends and family under one roof to celebrate.
Tell us a little bit about your wedding!
Our wedding will be held on August 4th, 2018 in Cranbrook B.C. at St. Eugene Golf Resort. We chose this location for many reasons, some of which include that we both love the idea of a destination wedding, but wanted to have all friends and family able to make it, Cayde has golfed many times at St. Eugene and loves it every time he goes and lastly, what better place to get married then one with lush green grass, mountains in the background and beautiful red vines growing over an old stone building. Not to mention the limo golf cart they have as well haha
Between both of our families and our friends, and the love and support they’ve shown us, this has already been one of the best experiences of our lives and we haven’t even gotten to the wedding day yet. I can’t wait to see what the big day brings!
