How did you and your fiancé meet?
We met in highschool, but didn’t reconnect until about 7 years later when Jon texted and said ‘Hey I don’t know if you remember me, but this is Jon and I was wondering if you would be interested in going to a concert with me?’. I was going through chemotherapy at the time, so I couldn’t go, but we started a friendship from that and eventually started dating.
What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day (aside from marrying your spouse)?
We were both looking forward to the speeches!
Tell us a little bit about your wedding!
It’s a jumble of all the things that we like. From the music to the Star Wars cake, scrabble decorations and Harry Potter influences. Although the general then is rustic, it’s really infused with non sensical things that make us, us.
What’s been the funnest process of planning your wedding so far?
We aren’t big on planning and organizing. More so we liked picking out colours and decorations. I loved dress shopping with my mom and Jon and I went suit shopping together which was a wonderful day.
