I’d known Rebecca for a while through Facebook because she’s in the wedding industry as well, as an incredibly talented, award winning makeup artist in Calgary. So when she got engaged, I was so flattered and excited she’d asked me to capture her wedding! Winter is one of my favourite seasons to shoot in. The snow, the beautiful golden light, and the details that come with winter weddings are always a bonus (as you’ll see). Their beautiful wedding was filled with lots of emotion, from tears of happiness to laughter. Cotie and Rebecca were made for each other, and that became completely evident just by seeing how much they loved each other – especially their heartfelt vows!
Cotie had his grandmother’s wedding ring turned into a beautiful necklace for Rebecca, which he gave her on their wedding day.
