I remember when I got the e-mail from Jenny telling me about hers and Carson’s New Years Eve wedding… I did a mini “book me” wedding dance in hopes that I’d hear back from them because it just sounded too amazing. Â Well it wasn’t until about two weeks after the initial e-mail that they’d written to say that they were interested and wanted me to shoot their beautiful day – I was ecstatic! Â I was even more excited to meet Jenny and Carson (they live in Edmonton, and me being in Calgary), everything was done over the phone. Â They were down to earth and just straight up fun! Â Their wedding was definitely one that I won’t forget!

stephanie. holy goodness, these are amazing!!! i don’t even know where to start! your detail shots are right on (goodness the ring and the gold)… i love that shot of her reflection in the mirror (WHAT a beautiful bride!)… the way you use light and composition and just the right lens to capture the location is amazing (i LOVE the mountains!)… the ones of them seeing each other for the first time are incredibly sweet… and that first backlit dancing one is just remarkable. you ROCKED this wedding. it’s incredible!
Beautiful color palettes – gold is one of my favorites! That necklace (I think the groom gave it to the MOB?) make me choke up on the spot – I have a 2 year old daughter and would be over the moon if her husband-to-be did such a gesture!
