I don’t know where to start with these two.  They’re so down to earth and just a pleasure to be around!  They’ve got an undeniable connection that jumps out at you through the screen.  I remember thinking to myself at the end of their engagement session how insanely it was to capture them as a couple.  It as as simple as me standing them together and sitting back and watching it all unfold with my camera!  This awesome couple is getting married next July, and I’m thrilled to capture their wedding already!

Here’s a little more about them!

Describe your style as a couple:

According to Colter-mad swag and sexy professionals. I’d like to think of us as artsy, not hipster like.

Bride, if you could live in any city in the world, where would it be?

      Paris

Groom, if you could live in any city in the world, where would it be?

      Vancouver

      Bride, how did he propose?

He brought me to the place where we had our first date/kiss.   He brought me to the school playground, and made me go for a walk. We parked the car and there was a flower with a piece of paper tied to it. There were 51 flowers, each with a card on it giving me a reason as to why he loves me. As we continued down the trail of flowers, at the end of the trail was a circle of flower petals. Music was playing, and when we go to the circle there was the 51st flower. As I read the card, Colter had gotten down on one knee and asked me to marry him.  As we were hugging it out, he turned me around and I saw all our close friends and my sister taking photos of the moment.

Groom, what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Besides beer bonging a 6 pack of Lucky, it would be taking a chance on Camille and I. I dropped out of U of L on the first day of class, packed everything up and moved to Edmonton to be with Camille.

Bride, what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Went on a trip to Vancouver with a girl I barely knew from class. Our hostel turned out to be our nightmare, we had to find another place to sleep, which we had to change halfway through because they were fully booked. Turns out, that girl became my best friend and is now one of my bridesmaids!

Bride, if you were stranded on an island, what would be the one thing you’d bring?

      iPod!

Groom, if you were stranded on an island, what would be the one thing you’d bring?

      Magic cards.
